Characteristics
White Sesame Seeds have a nutty flavor and a strong aroma. It does not differ much from the black sesame seed in terms of taste.
Sesame seeds can be used in the preparation of hummus and are an important component of gomasio (Japanese seasoning), sushi and maki. The nutty spiciness of sesame seeds also goes well with bread (eg bagels) and cookies, fish (as a panade for tuna), spinach and chicken.
Variation tip: use white sesame seeds together with black sesame seeds. This mix looks fantastic
