Storage advice rice flakes

Store the rice flakes in a cool, dark and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. It can then be kept for about 2 years.

Preparation

The rice flakes are raw, but can be eaten without preparation.
Eat it raw like you would eat cornflakes or muesli, with some (coconut) milk and sugar. First rinse the rice flakes in a sieve under the cold tap. The thinnest variants are then immediately ready for use, the somewhat thicker variants can be left in the sieve for 10 minutes with adhering water and the thickest variant is first spread over a deep plate and then sprinkled with some water. The wet flakes should feel soft, with no hard bits. You can now stir-fry it as a nasi. Or use it as a substitute for rice flour in dishes, for example, you get a different texture.
