Characteristics
Ragi vermicelli is a healthier version of vermicelli. Made from ground whole Ragi seeds, Ragi is an excellent source of iron, fiber, protein and calcium. Ragi is delicious for breakfast (much of India makes a popular dish called Upma, a savory dish usually consumed with breakfast) or with dinner. It can be prepared for both spicy and sweet dishes. Kheer and Semiya Payasam are sweet dessert dishes which are milk based puddings.

Preparation Ragi vermicelli
- Take 4.5 liters of plain water and the required amount of salt.
- Add 450 grams of Anil Ragi Vermicelli.
- Leave it on for 3 minutes and let the excess water drain.
- Do not keep it or keep it for more than 3 minutes or it will lose its nature.
- Then cook it in the steam for 5 minutes.

Alternative 1 (Upma)
