Ingredients

Red Chilli Powder, Coriander, Cumin, Dry Mango, Salt, Garlic, Fennel, Black Pepper, Black Salt, Cloves, Black Cardamom, Dry Ginger, Cinnamon, Mace, Acidity Regulator

Explanation ingredients

Cumin: gives a nutty and peppery taste to dishes. Can be used in, for example, curry or chili.
Coriander: the leaves have a lemony flavour, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed flavour.
Garlic: has distinctive taste and can be used in many dishes.
Fennel: promotes digestion and gives fresh breath. Fennel tea is used for coughing.
Clove: gives a herbaceous and spicy taste to dishes.
Cardamom: herbaceous plant of the ginger family. It has a pungent smell and the taste is sweet with a hint of lemon, camphor and bergamot. The green variant provides spice and freshness. The black variant is suitable for more powerful dishes such as curries and stews.
Ginger: has an intense pungent taste. Can be used in, for example, desserts, bread or biscuits. In India it is widely used with fish.
Cinnamon: Can be used with both spicy and sweet dishes due to the deliciously warm and sweet taste.
Mace: the seed coat that surrounds the nutmeg. Can be used in sweet desserts (rice porridge) or with fish, soups and sauces.

Storage advice

Store in a cool and dry place. Shelf life up to 2 years after production date. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. Perishable after opening.

Preparation

  1. Take 5 teaspoons of oil and 30 grams of salted butter in a pan.
  2. Add 2 medium (100 grams) chopped onions, 2 large (125 grams) chopped bell peppers and fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of Aachi Ginger Garlic Paste.
  4. Release the ginger flavor.
  5. Add 5 large (250 grams) chopped tomatoes, fry until they ooze oil.
  6. Add 3 tablespoons of Aachi Pav Bhaji Masala and fry for 1 minute.
  7. Add 250 grams of cooked mashed potatoes and 1 cup (125 grams) of frozen peas.
  8. Bake the mixture for 1 minute.
  9. Add 150 milliliters of warm water.
  10. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  11. Add salt to taste.
  12. Add salted butter, chopped onion and lemon juice and serve hot with buttered buns/pavs.
