Finger millet or Wonder grain is popularly known as Ragi in Kannada, Keppai in Tamil, Ragula in Telugu and panji pullu in Malayalam, Nachani/mandua in Hindi is a well known millet and widely consumed by people all over the world.
Finger Millet/Ragi is one of the most nutritious grains and is widely used as a staple food in Asia and Africa. Finger Millet is naturally gluten-free and easily digestible. It is a rich source of calcium, potassium, iron, protein, fiber and other minerals.
The health benefits of finger millet flour are that it is high in calcium, slows the aging process, controls anemia, stops weight gain and controls blood sugar levels. Excellent for those with gluten and lactose intolerance.
The finger millet flour is processed here into delicious noodles. The included masala (spice mix) gives the dish its characteristic Indian taste and aroma.

Noodles: Finger millet flour, whole wheat flour, edible vegetable oil, salt, purified water.
Masala: chili powder, salt, pepper, ginger, spices.

Storage advice
Store in a cool and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container.
Preparation (3 persons)
- Boil 210 grams of noodles in 1.2 liters of water for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Drain the water and set the noodles aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry curry leaves, onions, peppers, carrots, cabbage and other desired vegetables until al dente.
- Then add the flavoring masala.
- Add the fried vegetables to the noodles.
- Mix it all together well.
- Serve the dish hot.
