Ingredients

Brahmi leaves, coriander leaf, cumin, pepper, asafoetida, black cumin, calamus, dried ginger, turmeric powder, cardamom, nutmeg, haritaki, oak gall, belleric, cloves, pipal, tail pepper, fennel, ajwain, poppy seed.

Explanation ingredients

Coriander: the leaves have a lemony flavour, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed flavour.
Cumin: gives a nutty and peppery taste to dishes. Can be used in, for example, curry or chili.
Asafoetida: devil's dung (a herbaceous plant). It has a beneficial effect and promotes digestion. It is an alternative to using onion and/or garlic in dishes.
Sweet flag: an Indian spice with a herbaceous taste. It tastes like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
Ginger: has an intense pungent taste. Can be used in, for example, desserts, bread or biscuits. In India it is widely used with fish.
Turmeric: spice extracted from the roots Curcuma plant. It provides flavor and color in curry dishes.
Cardamom: herbaceous plant of the ginger family. It has a pungent smell and the taste is sweet with a hint of lemon, camphor and bergamot. The green variant provides spice and freshness. The black variant is suitable for more powerful dishes such as curries and stews.
Nutmeg: ideal for savory or sweet dishes.
Haritaki: is part of the triphala and is a fruit that has a positive effect on digestion, has a reducing effect of intestinal complaints and activates the digestive enzymes.

Clove: gives a herbaceous and spicy taste to dishes.

Storage advice

Preparation

  1. Place 1 tablespoon of soup mix in a bowl.
  2. Add 150 ml (about 1 cup) of boiling water.
  3. Stir well so that no lumps form.
