Ingredients
Coriander (36%), rice, peppers, cumin, fenugreek, cassia.
Explanation ingredients
Coriander: the leaves have a lemony flavour, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed flavour.
Cumin: gives a nutty and peppery taste to dishes. Can be used in, for example, curry or chili.
Fenugreek: it is a plant of the legume family. The seeds can be used in salads, vegetable dishes or curry sauce, for example. It has its own specific taste.
Cassia: is a variant of cinnamon.

Storage advice
Store in a cool, dark and dry place.
Preparation
- Boil 300 grams of vegetables of your choice and set them aside.
- Cook 3 tablespoons (45 grams) of red lentils in 600 ml of water with 1/2 teaspoon of cooking oil with a pinch of turmeric.
- Grind 1 tablespoon (15 grams) of MTR Sambar powder with grated coconut and a little jaggery (unrefined sugar).
- Mix this with the cooked lentils.
- Add the cooked vegetables with tamarind extract and salt to taste.
- Boil the whole thing for 5 minutes.
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon mustard and curry leaves in 1/2 teaspoon cooking oil.
- Add this to the sambar.
