Clearspring Organic Sushi Rice 500 g

This high quality short grain Selenio rice variety has characteristics very similar to the Japonica rice used in Japan to make sushi.

This rice is therefore particularly suitable for making delicious and perfect sushi, but can also be used for other purposes.

This short rice is light and sticky and stays soft after cooking.

It is organically grown in the Piemonte region of Italy, an area also known for growing risotto rice.

Preparation

For 2 persons:

1. Rinse 1 cup (190 grams) of sushi rice in cold water and drain.
2. Take a saucepan with 300 ml of cold water and add the rice. Let it stand for 30 minutes.
3. Bring the water to a boil. Close the pan with a lid and let it simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed.
4. Remove the pan from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes with the lid on the pan.
