Characteristics
With this Chicken Curry Masala you can make your own Indian chicken curry with this ready-made spice mix. This authentic South Indian curry makes for a deliciously spicy and aromatic dish.
Ingredients
Coriander, red chili powder, turmeric, black pepper, cumin, salt, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, garlic, dry ginger, onion, dry fenugreek leaves, mustard.
Explanation ingredients
Coriander: the leaves have a lemony flavour, while the seeds have a slightly sweet, aniseed flavour.
Turmeric: spice extracted from the roots Curcuma plant. It provides flavor and color in curry dishes.
Cumin: gives a nutty and peppery taste to dishes. Can be used in, for example, curry or chili.
Clove: gives a herbaceous and spicy taste to dishes.
Cinnamon: Can be used with both spicy and sweet dishes due to the deliciously warm and sweet taste.
Cardamom: herbaceous plant of the ginger family. It has a pungent smell and the taste is sweet with a hint of lemon, camphor and bergamot. The green variant provides spice and freshness. The black variant is suitable for more powerful dishes such as curries and stews.
Garlic: has distinctive taste and can be used in many dishes.
Ginger: has an intense pungent taste. Can be used in, for example, desserts, bread or biscuits. In India it is widely used with fish.
Fenugreek: it is a plant of the legume family. The seeds can be used in salads, vegetable dishes or curry sauce, for example. It has its own specific taste.

Storage advice
Store in a cool and dry place. Shelf life up to 2 years after production date. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. Perishable after opening.
Preparation
For the preparation of 1000 grams of chicken:
- Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onion, tomatoes and coconut paste.
- Bake this until golden brown.
- Add the cleaned chicken and fry 50 grams of Aachi Chicken Curry Masala.
- When the chicken is half done add water and the desired amount of salt.
- Let the chicken cook until tender.
- Finally add coriander leaves.
- The delicious chicken curry is now ready to serve.
After opening, store the rest of the spice mix in an airtight container and use a clean, dry spoon.
