Ragi Rava is also ideal for making Ragi Rava Upma, Rava Kichadi, Rava Payasam, Rava Pongal, Rava Halwa, Rava Idly, Rava Appam, etc.

This product is packaged and / or stored in a company that also processes products containing wheat, nuts, peanuts, mustard, celery, gluten, sesame, shellfish, soy, sulphite, fish and molluscs. Despite all precautions, this product may contain traces of these allergens.

Storage advice

Store in a cool and dry place. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. Shelf life up to 2 years after production date.

Preparation

  1. Heat ghee or oil in a pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds, urad lentils, asafoetida and curry leaves.
  3. Fry this on a low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Add onion, green pepper and pre-cooked vegetables and fry.
  5. Add Ragi Rava and 2 cups of water.
  6. Cover the pan with the lid and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. The millet absorbs the water and forms a mushy mixture.
  8. Garnish with coriander and lemon juice and serve warm.
