This highly concentrated pickle, based on fresh mango with the tastiest mixed herbs and oil, is often used by adding 1 or 2 tablespoons (depending on your taste) to rice as a flavor enhancer, but can also be used as a dipping sauce with papads.
Ingredients
Grated mango, salt, sesame oil, chili, spice mix, water, acidity regulators (INS 260, INS 330), asafoetida.
Explanation Ingredients
Asafoetida: devil's dung (a herbaceous plant). It has a beneficial effect and promotes digestion. It is an alternative to using onion and/or garlic in dishes.
