Sindhi Biryani stands out from other biryani alternatives because it is prepared with a healthy serving of potatoes along with the usual meat and rice content. The potatoes are thoroughly peeled and quartered before being added to the mix. This Biryani recipe can be prepared with any kind of meat such as lamb, mutton, veal, beef or chicken.

Ingredients
Red chili powder, ginger, garlic, salt, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin, star anise, prunes, sugar.
Explanation Ingredients
Ginger: has an intense pungent taste. Can be used in, for example, desserts, bread or biscuits. In India it is widely used with fish.
Garlic: has distinctive taste and can be used in many dishes.
Cinnamon: Can be used with both spicy and sweet dishes due to the deliciously warm and sweet taste.
Clove: gives a herbaceous and spicy taste to dishes.
Cardamom: herbaceous plant of the ginger family. It has a pungent smell and the taste is sweet with a hint of lemon, camphor and bergamot. The green variant provides spice and freshness. The black variant is suitable for more powerful dishes such as curries and stews.
Cumin: gives a nutty and peppery taste to dishes. Can be used in, for example, curry or chili.
Star anise: dried fruit with an aniseed flavour.

Storage advice
Keep in a cool and dry place. After opening, transfer the contents to an airtight container.
Preparation
- Fry 200 grams of onion and a tablespoon of ginger / garlic in a rice cooker with 200 milliliters of oil.
- Add 3 sliced tomatoes.
- Cut 2 green chilies lengthwise and add them.
- Fry this well.
- Add 500 grams of meat and fry it for 10 minutes.
- Add 45 grams of Aachi Sindhi Biryani Masala, 50 grams of sour cream, chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves.
- Let this cook well.
- Add 500 grams of Basmati rice with 1 liter of water.
- Add salt to taste.
- Close the rice cooker with a lid and cook it until tender.
- After about 15 minutes the Sindhi Biryani is ready to serve.
After opening, store the rest of the spice mix in an airtight container and use a clean, dry spoon.
