Characteristics
Rice Idli Mix for easy preparation of one of the healthiest dishes from India. Idli is a soft steamed rice cake. It is considered one of the healthiest breakfast recipes, which is packed with protein.
Idli is easily digestible and is often served with a chutney or a tiffin sambar.
Ingredients
Rice, black lentils, fenugreek, salt, raising agent (E500 (ii)) – sodium carbonate and acidity regulator (E296) – malic acid.

Storage advice
Store in a cool and dry place. Shelf life up to 2 years after production date. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. Perishable after opening.
Preparation
- Add 200 grams of Rice Idli Mix to 300 milliliters of water with 120 grams of sour curd to make a batter.
- Let it rest for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Make balls of the idli batter and steam for 10 minutes on a medium to high heat.
- Serve the warm idli with coconut or tomato chutney.
