Characteristics
Rava Idly is a traditional South Indian dish and is very tasty in combination with chutneys and sambar. It consists of simple ingredients such as semolina, lentils, salt, mustard and ginger. Delicious for breakfast.
Ingredients
Wheat semolina, rice flour, edible vegetable fat, salt, cashew nut, compounded asafoetida, curry leaves, bengal lentil, mustard, ginger, red chilli flakes, rising agent (E500(ii)).

Storage advice
Store in a cool and dry place. Shelf life up to 2 years after production date. After opening, transfer contents to an airtight container. Perishable after opening.
Preparation
- Add 200 grams of sour yogurt or cottage cheese and 100 milliliters of water to 200 grams of Aachi Rava.
- Mix to a good batter.
- Set this aside for about 10 minutes.
- Grease the idli molds with oil.
- Pour the batter into the idli molds and steam for 10 to 15 minutes.
