Characteristics
Aachi Rava Dosa, also called Rava Attu, is a South Indian crepe. Rava Dosa mix is a sour pancake mix with semolina and forms a very tasty and crispy semolina pancake which is perfect for a quick breakfast served with a chutney.
Ingredients
Semolina, rice flour, salt, cumin, black pepper, raising agent (E500 (ii)) – sodium carbonate and acidity regulator (E296) – malic acid.

Storage advice
Keep in a cool and dry place. After opening, transfer the contents to an airtight container.
Preparation
Step 1: Leave 200 grams of Rava Dosa Mix in 500 ml of water for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add 1 tablespoon of chopped onion, 2 green chilies and a swirl of curry leaves. Let this soak in for a few more minutes.
Step 2: Put a dosa tawa (kind of frying pan) on the fire and grease it with a little oil. Pour a heaping ladle of the mix into the pan in a circular motion from the outside to the center of the pan. Pour a teaspoon of oil on the sides of the dosa. Bake the dosa until it is crispy golden brown.
Step 3: Serve the dosa with a chutney.
