Aachi Citron Pickle

Aachi Citron Pickle is authentic in taste and very suitable to serve with Indian dishes. Carefully harvested lemons are preserved with the most delicious spices and oils. The lemon gives this spicy pickle a sour and fresh taste, which makes a delicious combination with the rice you have cooked. This highly concentrated pickle is often used by adding 1 or 2 tablespoons (depending on your taste) to rice as a flavor enhancer, but can also be used as a dipping sauce for papads.

Ingredients

Citron, refined vegetable oil, salt, red chili powder, mustard, fenugreek, asafoetida, acidity regulator E-260 (citric acid) and preservative E-211.

Explanation ingredients

Fenugreek: it is a plant of the legume family. The seeds can be used in salads, vegetable dishes or curry sauce, for example. It has its own specific taste.
Asafoetida:devil's dung (a herbaceous plant). It has a beneficial effect and promotes digestion. It is an alternative to using onion and/or garlic in dishes.
